Voter File Information

The OSSD strongly recommends campaigns use only the voter file provided by the Oklahoma Democratic Party, otherwise known as VAN (Voter Activation Network). We have negotiated a very reasonable price for Senate candidates wishing to use the online Voter File. Please contact our office for more information: 405.424.6889.

We strongly encourage you to make use of the internet format because of added features and the simple user interface for begining campaigners.

What is a Voter File?

A voter file is a large database of voter information that can be used to asist your campaign with many common tasks such as targeted mailing and call lists. The voter file contains additional demographic information, such as voding history, age and sex for even more precise targeting.
